“What are you doing? Why are you acting like that?”

“Because, Amy, we are in the middle of a park that contains within its boundaries dozens of animals that will, without question, eat us if they so choose. They will not respond to logic, they will not respond to reason and they are hunting us as we speak. Right this very second.”

“What?” Rory’s voice shook. “What’s hunting us?”

And then, very suddenly, there wasn’t any silence at all. The bushes around them shook and there was a sharp cry from the shadows. From the corner of her eye, Amy saw something move, shining and wet from the rain. “Doctor…”
